Roebuck Pool Competition
Bank holiday Monday evening I held a pool competition at the Roebuck pub in Northwich. I had planned a competition for a maximum of 24 players but disappointingly only 6 took part, but it was a good atmosphere and the Roebuck pub was extremely helpful, they donated a fosters pool cue for the winner and provided the 20p's needed for the pool tables. The night started with a round robin where everyone played each other and the top 4 players went through to the semi final. Everyone played each other in the semi final and again the top 2 players went through to the final. The two players who went through to the final were friends and determined to beat each other so everything rested on this match and Jonno was the winner! He was presented with the pool cue and a trophy I had engraved "winner, charity pool 2010" and photos were taken (I will post them soon) I also did a raffle and the night raised a total of £58 which I am pleased with! Thank you all who took part and came to support the event and cause x
Car boots
Its been a busy weekend for car boots this weekend, on Sunday we went to Whitley WI car boot which was the worst car boot I've ever been to! We were put in a side room with 3 other sellers where there were no signs telling people we were there so we barely got anyone coming in and only raised £28 which was disappointing, but every little helps!
Bank holiday Monday we were at Moss Farm Big boot which was really good last year, we didn't get as good a spot this year but it was a good day, busy with sunshine and we made £36 which all went towards my cause.

TEFL
I started my Teaching English as a foreign language 100 hour online course this week and its going ok, I am up to module 2 and finding it a bit harder than I thought! I have a reference book though which is making it easier to remember the difference between all the different types of verbs and rules of grammer. Fingers crossed it won't get much harder!
Weaverham Car boot
On Sunday 8th August I did Weaverham car boot and raised £50 towards my fund and at the end of the car boot another seller generously donated some items for the next car boot I do.
