Roebuck Pool Competition

Bank holiday Monday evening I held a pool competition at the Roebuck pub in Northwich. I had planned a competition for a maximum of 24 players but disappointingly only 6 took part, but it was a good atmosphere and the Roebuck pub was extremely helpful, they donated a fosters pool cue for the winner and provided the 20p's needed for the pool tables. The night started with a round robin where everyone played each other and the top 4 players went through to the semi final. Everyone played each other in the semi final and again the top 2 players went through to the final. The two players who went through to the final were friends and determined to beat each other so everything rested on this match and Jonno was the winner! He was presented with the pool cue and a trophy I had engraved "winner, charity pool 2010" and photos were taken (I will post them soon) I also did a raffle and the night raised a total of £58 which I am pleased with!
