Day 3 of school placement: Wednesday 31st August
Woke up yesterday morning feeling really queasy, arrived at the school and was told the TTC contact would arrive at 10am. Spent the morning doing photocopying for the other teachers and 10am came and went and the TTC contact still hadn’t arrived. One of the other girls phoned to see what was happening and all we were told that he was coming later. Spent the rest of the day waiting around and gradually feeling worse and by the end of school at 4pm I had a pounding head ache and felt really sick and dizzy. I managed to get a taxi home and went straight to bed. My room mate woke me up at 6pm and we went out for something to eat, I had one bite and felt really sick so didn’t eat any more. We then started walking back to the apartment and I collapsed, managed to get back to the apartment (really wish we weren’t on the fourth floor) and I went to bed. The other two girls apparently came round to use our washing machine and I had a conversation with them but I don’t remember this at all, apparently I have food poisoning.
